About State Champs

State Champs formed in Albany, New York, and became one of the 2010s pop-punk revival’s flagship bands on the strength of relentless touring and Derek DiScanio’s arena-sized choruses. Around the World and Back (2015) was the breakthrough — a record that carried them from club bills to festival main stages — and Living Proof and Kings of the New Age kept the momentum rolling. A decade on, this tour plays the breakthrough album in full, surrounded by the rest of the catalog.

The venue

Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas anchors The LINQ Promenade in the center of the Strip, pairing a full concert hall with 32 bowling lanes, a club level and Blue Ribbon food. The general admission standing floor is made for a pop-punk crowd — close to the stage with room to move — and the roughly 2,000-person scale keeps the energy in the room. The box office opens two hours before door time on show days, and accessibility accommodations are available on the day of the show on a first-come basis.

Tickets

Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster, the official seller for Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas. General admission standing-floor tickets are listed at $47.90, a price that already includes fees before taxes, and a GA ticket plus $50 dinner credit package is offered at $84.65 on the same listing. The event listing notes an eight-ticket limit.

Getting to Brooklyn Bowl

Brooklyn Bowl sits at 3545 South Las Vegas Boulevard, inside The LINQ Promenade between The LINQ Hotel and the Flamingo. Paid parking is available in The LINQ and Flamingo self-park garages a short walk away. The Las Vegas Monorail stops at the Harrah’s/The LINQ station, the Deuce bus runs along the Boulevard, and rideshare drop-offs for the Promenade are on Linq Lane. Note the 6:00 PM start — earlier than a typical headliner — and plan Friday traffic accordingly.

Make a night of it

An early 6:00 PM start still leaves the whole night open afterward: dinner on the LINQ Promenade, Brooklyn Bowl’s Blue Ribbon menu and bowling lanes inside, or a High Roller ride to close out Friday the 13th.

Ten years, one album, front to back

Around the World and Back defined a pop-punk moment. Hearing it in sequence, in a room this size, is the closest thing to being there when it landed.
