About GWAR
GWAR formed in Richmond, Virginia in the mid-1980s, growing out of an art collective into the most notorious theatrical metal band in America. Behind the mythology — thawed-out alien warriors bent on conquering Earth — sits a genuinely tight thrash band whose catalog runs from Scumdogs of the Universe and America Must Be Destroyed through the modern era. Since the death of founder and frontman Dave Brockie (Oderus Urungus) in 2014, Blöthar the Berserker has led the charge, and the live ritual remains gloriously unchanged: costumes, carnage and comedy in equal measure.
The venue
Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas anchors The LINQ Promenade in the center of the Strip, pairing a full concert hall with 32 bowling lanes, a club level and Blue Ribbon food. The standing floor puts the crowd directly in the show’s blast radius, and the room’s roughly 2,000-person scale means there is no bad spot to witness the spectacle. The box office opens two hours before door time on show days, and accessibility accommodations are available on the day of the show.

Getting to Brooklyn Bowl
Brooklyn Bowl sits at 3545 South Las Vegas Boulevard, inside The LINQ Promenade between The LINQ Hotel and the Flamingo. Paid parking is available in The LINQ and Flamingo self-park garages a short walk away. The Las Vegas Monorail stops at the Harrah’s/The LINQ station, the Deuce bus runs along the Boulevard, and rideshare drop-offs for the Promenade are on Linq Lane. With a 6:00 PM start, arrive before Saturday-evening Strip traffic peaks — and maybe bring a change of shirt for the ride home.
