Ray Volpe, a Charlotte, North Carolina producer and DJ, broke out of the SoundCloud dubstep scene and into festival main stages on the strength of “Laserbeam,” the 2022 single that became one of the most-played bass tracks in the world and a set-list fixture for nearly every heavy DJ on the circuit.
