Danny Elfman brings “Music from the Films of Tim Burton” to the Resorts World Theatre on Saturday, November 14, 2026, with the show starting at 8:00 PM Pacific Time. The concert pairs Elfman with the Las Vegas Philharmonic for an evening of his film scores, and it is the second of two nights in Las Vegas, following the Friday, November 13 performance, which is already covered on this site. Tickets are on sale through AXS.

Elfman and Burton are one of the great director-composer partnerships in film. Their collaborations include “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” “Beetlejuice,” “Edward Scissorhands,” “Batman,” “Alice in Wonderland,” and “Wednesday,” and the concert draws on that catalog: the swooping themes, the choir, the brass, and the songs Elfman wrote for Jack Skellington. Hearing the scores played by a full orchestra, with Elfman on stage, is a very different experience from hearing them in a cinema — the music is the main event here, not the background.

The Resorts World Theatre is one of the Strip’s newer showrooms, built for big productions with a steep seating bowl and a large stage. Saturday is a stacked night in Las Vegas: Lionel Richie plays the Encore Theater at Wynn at 8:00 PM, Kill Tony plays its second night at Dolby Live, and Teddy Swims is at T-Mobile Arena. Plan to arrive early and give yourself extra time to get through the resort.

Tickets

Tickets for the November 14 show are on sale now through AXS, the official ticket seller for Resorts World Theatre. Ticket prices are not published on the event listing, so the price depends on the section you choose — check the AXS seating map for the current prices before you buy. The Friday, November 13 show is the same production at the same time, so if Saturday sells out, Friday is the fallback. Buy from the official AXS listing rather than a resale marketplace: resale tickets for this room are often listed well above face value.

Getting There

The Resorts World Theatre sits inside Resorts World Las Vegas at 3000 S Las Vegas Blvd, on the north end of the Strip across from the Las Vegas Convention Center. Drivers can use the Resorts World self-parking garage or valet; rideshare pick-up and drop-off is at the resort’s main entrance. The Las Vegas Monorail’s Las Vegas Convention Center station is the closest stop, a short walk from the resort, and the Deuce bus runs up and down Las Vegas Boulevard. Because the show starts at 8:00 PM on a Saturday, when the Strip is at its busiest, aim to be inside the resort by 7:00 PM at the latest and leave time to walk from the garage or the monorail to the theater.

Good to Know

Bring a valid photo ID and the card used to buy the tickets, and check the AXS listing before you go for the latest entry rules. Bags are screened at the door, and large bags are best left in the car or the hotel room. After the show, the resort’s restaurants and bars stay open late, so there is no rush to leave Resorts World.

Official listing: Danny Elfman: Music from the Films of Tim Burton, November 13 and 14, 2026, on AXS. More shows are listed on Resorts World Las Vegas’s entertainment calendar.
