About A Perfect Circle
A Perfect Circle was founded by guitarist Billy Howerdel and Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan, and its 2000 debut “Mer de Noms” — home of “Judith” and “3 Libras” — became a landmark of modern art rock. Follow-ups “Thirteenth Step,” the covers set “eMOTIVe” and 2018’s “Eat the Elephant” deepened the band’s reputation for moody, meticulously arranged rock. Opening the night, British veterans The Cult bring four decades of anthems, from “She Sells Sanctuary” and “Fire Woman” to “Love Removal Machine,” powered by Billy Duffy’s guitar and Ian Astbury’s unmistakable voice.
