Dweezil Zappa grew up inside one of the most inventive catalogs in rock: his father Frank’s genre-hopping run from Hot Rats and Apostrophe (‘) through the Mothers of Invention. After his own solo career — including guitar work alongside his father — Dweezil launched Zappa Plays Zappa in 2006 to perform the music live for a new generation, winning a Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance for “Peaches en Regalia.”
