The Red Clay Strays bring their Southern rock and soul revue to MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, December 5, 2026, with the show starting at 6:30 PM Pacific (doors at 5:30 PM). AEG Presents the night, with support from Muscadine Bloodline and Brent Cobb — a three-deep bill of modern Southern music in the middle of National Finals Rodeo week.
Few bands have climbed faster: in three years the Strays have gone from Alabama barrooms to selling out the Ryman and headlining arenas, carried by Brandon Coleman’s once-in-a-generation voice and a live show that feels part revival, part rock concert.

About the band
Hailing from Mobile, Alabama, The Red Clay Strays — Brandon Coleman (lead vocals, guitar), Drew Nix and band — straddle fiery Southern rock riffs, tender-hearted soul and tried-and-true country. Their 2022 album Moment of Truth featured the breakout single “Wondering Why,” which pushed the band into the top 10, earned them a deal with RCA Records and led to Made by These Moments, produced by Grammy winner Dave Cobb and cut at his home studio in Savannah, Georgia. Performances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, CBS Saturday Morning and NPR’s Tiny Desk — plus a sold-out These Moments Tour and a Live At The Ryman album — have made their live show one of the most talked-about in American roots music.
The venue
MGM Grand Garden Arena, inside MGM Grand at 3799 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, is one of the Strip’s landmark arenas — three decades of championship boxing, UFC and arena concerts, with a capacity around 16,800 for center-stage shows. Its December calendar sits in the heart of rodeo week, when country and Southern rock take over the city.
Tickets
Tickets are on sale now through the official MGM Grand Garden Arena event page (the arena’s box office partner is AXS). Prices vary by seat and are not published as a single starting price on the arena listing, so check the live seat map for the current picture. With Muscadine Bloodline and Brent Cobb opening, this is a full evening — three sets of Southern songwriting for one ticket.
Getting to MGM Grand Garden Arena
MGM Grand stands at 3799 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109, at the Tropicana Avenue corner of the Strip. It has its own Las Vegas Monorail station (the southern terminus), connecting to the Convention Center and the north Strip, and self-parking and valet in the MGM Grand garages. For a 6:30 PM Saturday show during rodeo week, arrive before the 5:30 PM doors — the Strip will be busy.

Make a night of it
Doors at 5:30 PM leave time for dinner inside MGM Grand before Brent Cobb opens. After the show, the Garden Arena empties into one of the biggest casino floors in the world — a very Las Vegas end to a very Southern night.
