About Violent Femmes

The Violent Femmes formed in Milwaukee and detonated out of the early-80s underground with a self-titled debut that became one of alternative rock’s defining records. Gordon Gano’s anxious, funny, furious songs — “Blister in the Sun,” “Kiss Off,” “Add It Up,” “Gone Daddy Gone” — paired acoustic instruments with punk energy and became generational anthems, while “American Music” kept them on the radio into the 90s.

The 45 Years tour celebrates that whole catalog: the debut front to back in spirit, four decades of deep cuts, and a live show that still sounds like it could fly off the rails in the best way.

The venue

Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas anchors The LINQ Promenade in the center of the Strip, pairing a full concert hall with 32 bowling lanes, a club level and a Blue Ribbon kitchen famous for its fried chicken. For a band built on communal sing-alongs, the standing floor — close, loud and packed shoulder to shoulder — is the perfect room.

Tickets

Tickets are handled through Ticketmaster, the official seller for Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas. As of publication, the official Ticketmaster event page shows Verified Resale general admission and the Femmeslandia VIP package rather than standard face-value tickets, so confirm the December 13 date and 7:00 PM start at checkout and expect resale pricing to vary. Add-on packages are sold separately and are not concert tickets.

Getting to Brooklyn Bowl

Brooklyn Bowl sits at 3545 South Las Vegas Boulevard, inside The LINQ Promenade between The LINQ Hotel and Flamingo Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Monorail stops at The LINQ/Harrah’s station a short walk away. Parking is available at The LINQ and Flamingo garages, and rideshare drop-offs work best on the side streets behind the promenade.
